BEAUTIFUL RUBBER STAMPS SINCE 2008

I love graphics, texture, and nature and try to incorporate them all into my art. My adventure into creating rubber stamps began with sewing handbags. I often made buttons for my bags out of polymer clay and used rubber stamps to add texture. Having a background in science and a tendency to ask "How is that done?" I figured out how to make photopolymer rubber stamps! I decided to start a new Etsy shop for my rubber stamps - just as an experiment, you know - to see if they'd even sell. Wow! The shop took off and I was soon devoting ALL my time to making rubber stamps.

I create all my stamps myself from start to finish. The artwork used is either created by me or is obtained from public domain or royalty free sources. Many are antique images from old books and advertisements. Images must be painstakingly cleaned up, enhanced and/or altered before the stamp is produced using a photosensitive polymer. The individual stamps are hand cut and applied to their bases using a special adhesive foam created for rubber stamp mounting.

The photopolymer that I use is the best available. It is specially formulated to be non-tacky on the back and is designed for mounting on blocks. The material is hard and durable and will provide many years of use. I mount on handcut hard white maple mounts. My line of Accent stamps at 5/8" max. dimension are attached to a unique clear, glass cube base.

Unmounted stamps and stamps made of photopolymer designed for use with clear acrylic blocks are also available.

Try my stamps on paper, clay, polymer clay, and fabric.
